1. Test 2 (30% of CA)
Chapter 6 only
Format:
-Short answer questions (10marks)
-SBQ
- Assertion
- Inference(10marks)
Total of 20 marks

Test will only take 30mins.
The next 30mins will be doing something else like checking your history files. Make sure everything is inside and in chronological order with a content page.

For absentees (with an authentic MC)/SLs who will miss the test, Retest details are as follow:
Date: 3rd September 2010 Friday
Time: 12.15pm after school
Venue: tables outside staff room on level 2 (walkway opp hall)
You will only need to bring your pen and 1foolscap paper.
3rd September is the final date for your test this term.


Post test 2:
You will need to print and fill in the appeal form (@ SMB attached pdf.) if you think you deserve more marks.

2. History Files
Files will be checked in class during test 2 period.
Get a content page - typed/written on foolscap.
You should have all the contents in the attached Table of contents unless it's group work.
If you have lost any notes or assignment, photocopy from your classmate/get from me.

3. Projects:

Please start working on your projects asap.

Submission of Storybooks on T4W1 Lesson 2
- regardless of chapters and order of presentation.

Presentation order is according to chapter number.
Present during lesson in T4W2.
You can utilize the video boxes outside level 1 staffroom to record your own video presentation and play it in class if you have 'stage' fright.
Everyone has to present.
Presentation is worth nearly half of the project grade.
The other half goes into the content and aesthetics of the storybook.

What is Compulsory?
- Content of storybook must be historically-accurately presented and summarized.
Long grandfather stories are a bore and an obstacle to high marks.

- Size of storybook: up to you. Nothing A3 or larger please. Nothing smaller than palm size/ pocket dictionary size.


Unlike tests, you can get full marks for your project.
This is your time to be creative.
Nothing fancy is compulsory.
No need for a state-of-the-art pop-out or audio storybook, though an interactive one is cool.


Peer evaluation
You will also need to submit a e-form to me (privately) for peer evaluation.
This is to make sure everyone does their equal share of work.
If there are any free-loaders
(i.e members who fail to turn up for meetings/do nothing)
you'll need to report that.
